ALZANDANI's cure patented?

Today there were alot of posts circulating around facebook that an aids "cure" claimed by ALZANDANI Abdul-Majeed has been patented by WIPO and as a proof a link is given

as far as I see it's an application however I would want to ask the website creators itself, is it patented and if so does it mean the cure is really a cure?

Dear Ammar,

It is today only a patent application which means it does not have yet been examined in any country. We receive from certain offices national phase information when the application is processed nationally, but not for all, and we have not yet received any for this particular application.
You can get some preliminary information on the "patentability" of the application by consulting the International Search Report published with the application.

Publication Date: 07.04.2011 International Filing Date: 02.10.2009

so how come you say the application was submitted just now???
