Date Range Query is no longer working

I have used a query like this successfully many times in the past

EN_ALLTXT:(antibody) AND DP:[16.03.2013 TO 22.03.2013]

But today I get this error message:

Error executing query Internal Server Error Internal Server Error request: http://ft7.wipo.int:8080/solrNC/select

Is this an error on the server end or has there been a change in the query syntax ?

This is working again as of 2013-03-25

This was a temporary problem encountered by one of our servers that disappeared once rebooted by our system administrator.
