The IPC statistics is a new feature that was introduced after the writing of the user guide.
The first tab, “Most active”, shows the most active IPCs in a specific publication. First select the publication you are interested in in the drop-down menu. The question mark will provide you with the definition of the code when you hover the mouse over it. To see the chart, please select “chart” under action. If you select query, you will be redirected to the result list where you can see the query that triggered the graph you just saw. You can also find out about the top 10 applicants amongst other values in the Analysis box.
In the second tab, "Most active 5 last gazettes", you’ll find the most active code IPC in the last 5 publications. You also have the option of chart and query.
The "Most advanced" tab shows you the uptrend of IPC codes over the last 6 publications; in the series column you see how many times the code appeared per publication. You also have the option of chart and query.
And the last tab, "breakouts", shows you a major change in the IPC codes over the last 6 publications; in the series column you see how many times the code appeared per publication. You also have the option of chart and query.
