difference between "browse by week (PCT)" and search by publication date for wo

I used the "browse by week (PCT)" for week 48/2013 (i.e. for date 2013-11-28) and got 4121 hits.

With the search interface, I searched for DP:20131128  and Office(s):wo and found 3749 hits.

Please could you explain the difference ?
