discrepancy in the result set

Why is the result set not taking all the results, For example when I  give my query as application number = ep* and applicant name tata consultancy* - this query fetches only 31 records. Seems like it is not fetching all EP applications.

There are several EP application records missing in this result set of 31 records. I was unable to see records with EP application 10015670, 11005727 etc.

CTR:EP and PA:(tata consultancy*)
