field search with National Phase Entry Date

I was trying to search for national phase applications by putting a date in the field called National Phase Entry Date.  The search returned 0 records.  Is this function working?

Dear Gayle,

You need to use the field NPED (or the entry in the drop down list in the search by "field combination" interface).

This field indexes both the country code of the office where the PCT application enters national phase and the national entry date separated by a dash. If for example you want to search all PCT applications having entered national phase in the United States in January 2000, you will enter:

NPED:US-200001*

If you don't care about the office, then use the NPA field (National Phase All Data):

NPA:200001??

The dates indeed use the format YYYYMMDD in both fields.
