National Phase entry type

Hi,

I'm running a search where I want to exclude any PCT applications where they have entered National/Regional phase early. In other words I am looking for PCT applications where there is no National/Regional phase information.

I searched by National Phase Entry Type (NPET) specifying no entry into Europe (EP N)  and got some hits.  However, when I viewed these hits I noticed that the applications had in fact entered the EP regional phase.

Is there any reason why this might be? Is there a better way to limit the records to exclude those applications that have already entered National/Regional Phase?
