The first session took place yesterday 01.14.2020 and the second session will take place tomorrow 01.16.2020 https://www.wipo.int/patentscope/en/webinar/

We had a very nice first session with interesting questions such as the creation of the WIPO account, the different languages of the interface, the Markush search and the WIPO Portal. If there are more questions or comments, don't hesitate to post them here.

The slide and recording will be available tomorrow 01.16.2020.

Through the PATENTSCOPE search service https://patentscope.wipo.int/ , you can obtain national phase entry data for published international applications including reference numbers for national phase entries. This data can be accessed by selecting the "National Phase" tab from the record view for a particular international application. These reference numbers can be used to assist you in obtaining further status information from the competent national authority. Please also read the restrictions related to the availability of the national phase information in PATENTSCOPE: https://patentscope.wipo.int/beta/en/nationalphase.jsf . For example, absence of information does not mean that the application has not been granted anywhere; it means that the information is not currently available.

For the national collections, you will find indication of a grant date, for example, in the Bibliographic data tab.

Tarek who is the CATI coordinator in a Biotechnology Research Center (C.R.Bt), Constantine - Algeria.
would like to ask the following questions:

1. Which section of the documentation contains the exact
description of a research axis on PATENTSCOPE?

2. Do we have the possibility to search by images or chemical structures on PATENTSCOPE?

3. Do we have the possibility of patenting a research topic on
the basis of a different title on PATENTSCOPE by a single number? Ex.
Published title: 5-terpene and can we patent 3-terpene?
